Orange Glen CA senior Rashad Prince placed third in the Division 3 boys final at the CIF San Diego Section Championships at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif. Prince covered the 3-mile course in 15:58.6 to advance to his first state meet Nov. 24. The night before, Prince, also a defensive back on the football team, will play in the CIF San Diego Section Division 5 championship against Francis Parker after helping his team defeat Holtville 22-7 in Friday's semifinals.
